  • User Preferences: Settings related to screenshot options and annotation tools may be stored locally using browser storage.

2. How We Use Information

We use the accessed data solely for:

  • Capturing and editing screenshots as requested by the user.

  • Providing features such as redaction and cropping.

  • Storing user preferences for a better experience.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not collect, share, or transmit any user data to external servers, third parties, or advertisers. All processing occurs locally within the user's browser.

4. Permissions Justification

  • activeTab: Allows the extension to capture screenshots of the currently active webpage.

  • scripting: Enables temporary modifications like highlighting elements before capturing.

  • storage: Saves user preferences locally for a consistent experience.

  • clipboardWrite: Allows users to copy screenshots directly to the clipboard for easier sharing.

5. Security Measures

We prioritize user privacy and security by ensuring that:

  • No user data is stored beyond the browser session.

  • No external transmissions occur.

  • Only necessary permissions are requested.
